What is the length of each class?


Classes can be 30 mins or an hour long. You decide what suits your needs.




How do I book a class?


Use the browse and book feature on the app to find a teacher that suits your needs at a time that you like. Or you can use the available now feature to find a teacher that is available straight away for a class. You can also tag your favourite teachers and find them in the favourites section – enabling you to book directly with them when they are available.




How do I decide which teacher is right for me?


Decide what you are looking for – e.g. yoga or meditation, which type of yoga, what language your teacher needs to speak, do you have a gender preference, etc. Use the filters on the teacher search to identify teachers who meet your needs.




Are there different levels of classes? For example, can there be less or more intense levels of classes?


When your booking request is accepted by your teacher, you can message them through the app to let them know your objectives and preferences for your class.




What happens if I had a problem with my class, for example the techer was late?


Our aim is to offer you the best experience with myyodaa. However, if for any reason you are not happy with your class you can contact us via the app or email us at support@myyodaa.com within 72 hours of the problem happening.




How do I get a refund?


Our aim is to offer you the best experience with myyodaa. However, if for any reason you are not happy with your class you can contact us via the app or email us at support@myyodaa.com within 72 hours of a problem happening and we'll evaluate this on a case by case basis.




I have a problem with the app, what should I do?


Let us know! You can email us at support@myyodaa.com, or chat to us via the Messages section in your app.




How can I cancel a class?


Have a look at the My classes page on the app and click on the cancel class button. Please note that if you cancel your class more than three hours in advance, your fee will be reufnded automatically. However, if you cancel a class less than three hours before the scheduled time you will be charged for the class anyway. This is to be fair to teachers, who have reserved their time for you, and are less likely to recieve another booking in that timeframe.

Does myyodaa recommend a particular school of yoga or philosophy?


myyodaa aims to democratise yoga and meditation – making the health and wellness benefits of this ancient practice accessible to all. As such we do not advocate for any specific schools of yoga, rather allowing teachers to offer their experience and knowledge, and enabling students to choose what suits their needs.




What are the rules and protocols at myyodaa to keep me safe?

Do I negotiate my sessions with the teacher or does myyodaa organise this for me?


You have total control in terms of which teacher you choose and when to do a session.




Does myyodaa recommend the number of sessions or length of sessions that are best?


Our sessions are set at 30 minutes or an hour. However, you decide how many sessions you want to do and how regularly.




Do I need a yoga mat?


A yoga mat is highly recommended, but not mandatory if you have a soft platform such as a carpet or rug on which to practice.




Does it matter whether I have done yoga and/or meditation before?


No. However, if you are completely new to yoga and meditation please ensure you let your teacher know so they can tailor your class accordingly.
